Membership Discount Rules:

General Rules

  • Auto-renewals don’t qualify for discounts: The 50% anniversary discount applies only to upgrades or new purchases made during the event period. Auto-renewals will continue at the regular price.
  • No Switching of Tiers Between Platforms: Membership plan tier changes do not carry over different platforms. This means that if you have a membership on an iOS device, you cannot upgrade or downgrade your current plan on an Android device or PC, even if you are logged into the same PixAI account.

Web

  • Monthly → Annual: If you switch to annual, you’ll pay the corresponding full annual price (as all membership credits are granted upfront).Your new plan takes effect immediately, and your membership period will reset right away.
  • Annual Tier Upgrade: When moving to a higher annual tier, you’ll only pay for the difference between plans. Your new plan takes effect immediately, and your membership period will reset right away.

Mobile

To enjoy the anniversary discount, please upgrade within the app. Purchases made directly through the store page will not apply to the discount. In apps, Apple/Google handle the math on refunds automatically; you’ll see the final charge and the new renewal date on your store receipt.

iOS

  • Monthly → Annual: The App Store will refund the unused portion of the monthly plan, then charge the full annual. Access switches immediately, and your renewal date becomes the upgrade date.
  • Annual Tier Upgrade: The App Store will refund the unused portion of the lower tier, then charge the higher tier. Access switches immediately, and your renewal date becomes the upgrade date.
  • Note: Apple typically uses proportional billing (proration) when processing upgrades.

Andoid

  • Monthly → Annual: Your plan switches immediately. Google Play automatically adjusts your billing — either crediting the unused time from your previous plan or applying it toward the new annual price.
  • Annual Tier Upgrade: Works the same way. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and Google Play automatically calculates any price difference.

Q: If I switch plans, what happens to the time left on my old plan?

A: Your old cycle ends the moment you upgrade. A new cycle starts right away with your upgraded plan.

Q: When do I qualify for the 50% anniversary discount?

A: You’ll receive the discount if you do any of the following between Oct 15–Nov 15:

  • Purchase any new annual membership;
  • Upgrade from a monthly plan to an annual plan;
  • Upgrade from a lower annual tier to a higher one.

  Please note: auto-renewals and same-tier renewals are not eligible for the discount.

Q: I’m already on an annual plan. How can I get the 50% discount?

A: You’ll need to upgrade to a higher annual tier. The discount only applies to new purchases or tier upgrades, not to renewals of the same plan.

Q: Will I lose my membership perks if I switch plans?

A: No. Your perks carry over immediately to the new plan—you’ll just be on a fresh cycle.

Q: Can I downgrade from Annual → Monthly?

A: No. Downgrades from annual to monthly aren’t supported during this event period.

Q: If I downgrade my plan in the app, can I still get the 50% discount when it renews next year?

A: No. The discount applies only to purchases made during the event period. If you downgrade now, the change will take effect on your next renewal, and you’ll be charged the standard price for that plan.

Pity System

To prevent unlucky streaks, the Mio Anniversary Card spin includes a built-in pity system:

  • 200 spins total → unlocks all missing cards automatically, plus all milestone rewards.

When you trigger a pity reward, only that rarity’s counter resets (SSR pity doesn’t reset SR pity, and vice versa).
