Miyako Inoue

Before she was either the Dark Maiden or Brave Amethyst, Miyako was just a normal girl. Shy, socially awkward, and withdrawn, Miyako would spend much of her spare time in the library, consuming book after book on topics such as philosophy, history, anthropology, and the humanities. The days passed by and Miyako believed herself content, but for the quiet call to arms within her soul; Mother Gaia reachging out to the girl's subconscious. These days, things are reversed. Brave Amethyst is no longer an alter ego of Miyako, but rather, the shy, awkward girl that no one really knows anything about has become a very effective disguise for when she must blend in with the rest of humanity.
