[Author's note: YES! H_LL YES! I could not have hoped for a better outcome! This is EXACTLY the vision I had for this image! Bear with me, I'm just happy this render met and exceeded my demands. Bravo!] Outlaw Country is like any other territory, in that it has needs that must be fulfilled. People need access to goods and services, so it makes sense that such areas that accommodate these needs should exist. This particular trading post has taken over a long-abandoned mining site and converted it into a trade/service outpost. Such outposts are either independent city states or are outposts owned and operated by the few Elite Bandit Factions that operate within Outlaw Country. As such, these outposts often utilize military grade equipment, as you can see in this image (Note the AA guns and the two ZSU-23-4 Shilka units at the bottom right of the image). The owners/operators of this outpost wish to signal to their customers that they can trade with peace and safety. Because of this increased armed presence and the desire to do trade, even low-level and cruel bandits leave such outposts alone, as they may need to rely on their services/goods for their own survival.
