A seventeen-year-old girl stands alone in darkness. Both feet are in black lacquered wooden sandals—left strap tight, right strap hanging loose. Her toenails are bright crimson on both feet.
At her right hip, a katana hangs from a black cord. Its scabbard is black lacquered wood with a single thin vermilion stripe. A tiny wolf-tooth charm is tied to her right wrist.
She stands with her bare right side turned toward the viewer, her left shoulder lifted by the weight of the armor, her right shoulder relaxed.
