Description

Trained on key art from 80s and 90s Japanese Video Games. Cover art, concept art, magazine ads and other assorted materials, all with the text and logos removed. Focusing on traditional drawing media and avoiding digital art.The trigger words in order of importance should go as such:retro game art, traditional media, detailed texture, marker (medium),The medium tag should be whatever you prefer, I think it works better with marker but I'm posting others here:acrylic paint (medium), airbrush (medium), ballpoint pen (medium), brush (medium), chalk (medium), colored pencil (medium), color ink (medium), crayon (medium), ink (medium), marker (medium), oil painting (medium), painting (medium), pastel (medium), watercolor (medium)It won't conform to those mediums but mentioning any of them will help the image retain some of the grain and texture of traditional drawings. However the difference across any of them is just subtle, so don't sweat too much over it and just pick one.If the image is coming out too saturated or the colors peaking I recommend lowering the CFG Scale or using this contrast LoRA at -0.4 strength lora:contract_controller_illus01_v1:-0.4 . Usually I'll pump up the colors later in Photoshop. These are my default prompting settings but I don't think any of them are stringent (besides the CFG which burns the colors if it's too high), feel free to mess around with them:Sampling method: Euler aSchedule type: AutomaticSampling steps: 23CFG Scale: 5🔒Clip Skip: 1Lora Strength: 1.0Checkpoint: WAI-NSFW-illustrious-SDXLIt's probably best to keep the prompts on the shorter side otherwise the style might get diluted. Also go easy on the "quality" tags, just use the bare minimum be it positive or negative, as I presume it tends to smooth out the whole image and fights against grain and perceives older styles as bad quality.
