≪機体概要≫
架空の90年代レトロロボットアニメに登場する、敵対組織の重機動サイボーグ怪獣。
ずんぐりとした愛嬌のあるケモノライクなシルエットと、過酷な運用を物語る全身の激しいウェザリング（サビ）塗装が特徴。右腕部には粉砕用巨大金属ドリル、背部にはエネルギーチューブ直結型の大口径キャノン砲を装備し、圧倒的なパワーを誇る。
≪極秘設定（シークレット・レコード）≫
本機の真の運用目的は、ヒーローロボットを道連れにして敵基地中枢を吹き飛ばす「戦略的自爆」である。しかし、作戦の露見を防ぐため、ドルザウルス本人には自爆の事実が一切入力されていなかった。
劇中において、ヒーローを基地まで追い詰めた矢先、冷酷な自軍司令官により遠隔で自爆装置が起動される。突然体内で膨れ上がる強大な爆発エネルギーに困惑し、なんとか爆発を我慢しようと健気に歯を食いしばるが、その隙を突かれ、海上へ投げ飛ばされて無情にも爆散した。
与えられた任務に散った哀愁漂う最期は、敵メカでありながら今もなお多くのファンの心を打つ傑作デザインである。

A heavy-duty cyborg kaiju deployed by the villainous organization in a fictional 90s retro robot anime.
Characterized by its plump, endearing kemono-like silhouette and severe weathering (rust) on its armor, hinting at its harsh operational history. Equipped with a massive crushing metal drill on its right arm and a large-caliber energy cannon connected by tubes on its back, it boasts overwhelming power.

The true objective of this unit is a "suicide bombing" designed to take out the hero robot and destroy the enemy base. However, to maintain absolute secrecy, Doru-Zaurus itself was never informed of this self-destruct directive.
In the series, just as it corners the hero at their base, the ruthless enemy commander remotely activates the bomb. Confused by the sudden surge of explosive energy within, Doru-Zaurus desperately grits its teeth to bravely hold back the blast. In that vulnerable moment, it is thrown into the sea by the hero and tragically explodes. Its sorrowful end as a disposable pawn, despite its charm, makes it a deeply beloved mecha design among fans to this day.
