「closed-mouth side snarl／歯を食いしばる」表情を再現するための表情スタイルモデルです。
ケモノ・獣人キャラクターのマズル先端をしっかり閉じたまま、口角を後方へ引き、口の横側からだけ歯を覗かせる表情を描写します。
通常の大きく口を開けた威嚇表情とは異なり、前方の歯やマズル先端の歯を見せず、短い側面の歯列だけを露出させることで、歯を食いしばって耐えている表情、怒りや苦痛をこらえている表情、抑えた唸りや緊張感のある表情を作ることを目的としています。
口内の露出は最小限に抑え、舌もほとんど見せないため、閉じたマズルの形を維持しやすくなっています。
狼、犬、狐、ジャッカル、ドラゴンなど、マズルを持つケモノキャラクターの表情付けに適しています。キャラクター本来の目のデザイン、毛色、模様、左右非対称の特徴などをできるだけ維持しながら、口元の表情だけを追加したい場合にも使用できます。
This is an expression style model designed to reproduce a “closed-mouth side snarl” or clenched-teeth expression.
It keeps the front of the muzzle firmly closed while pulling the corners of the mouth backward, exposing teeth only along the sides of the mouth.
Unlike a typical aggressive expression with the mouth opened wide, this style avoids showing the front teeth or teeth at the tip of the muzzle. Instead, only a short row of side teeth is exposed, creating expressions that suggest gritting or clenching the teeth, enduring pain or pressure, holding back anger, restrained growling, or tense determination.
The visible mouth interior is kept to a minimum, with little to no tongue showing, helping preserve the shape of a fully closed muzzle.
This model works especially well with kemono and anthropomorphic characters that have pronounced muzzles, such as wolves, dogs, foxes, jackals, and dragons. It is also suitable for adding this specific mouth expression while preserving the character’s original eye design, fur colors, markings, and asymmetrical features as much as possible.
