宇宙の合金と地球の深海生物が融合した「優美なる破壊神」。厚い透明装甲の下で生体組織が脈動し、紫の蛾の翅からはクラゲの触手が優雅に漂う。尻尾先端の三叉電極は王笣の如く、青く輝く複眼は感情に応じて色を変える。特に腹部の装甲が割れ、赤く乱れる光は初めての「痛み」の証。

【生態・生い立ち】

厚い外殻の下には有機質の膜に保護された生体組織が存在。呼吸のため腹部には厚い装甲を施せない設計上の弱点を持つ。

当初「痛覚」はバグとされていたが、実は深海生物の生存本能を模した自己防衛システム。痛みを知ることで「生きている」実感を得、より効率的な建設を行う設計だった。しかしこの「痛み」が最期の瞬間、初めて「恐れ」という感情を生み出してしまう。

意思疎通は人語ではなく、**「グルルル…」「ガォォォォォン！」「グゥゥ…」**といった咆哮のトーンと、複眼の発光パターンで行われる。忠誠を誓う時は尻尾を低く垂らし、怒りの時は全身のネオンが紫色に明滅する。

【エピソード】

第1話「深海からの招待状」
まだ無名だったガスドロンは、ヒーローから「ただの怪獣」と侮られて攻撃を受ける。しかし、一切のダメージを受けず逆に圧倒。歩く要塞としての恐ろしさを見せつける。

第2話「建設者の矜持」
ヒーローが海底基地を破壊しに来ると、初めて防衛に徹する。自らの手で築き上げた要塞への執着を見せ、「グルルル…」という低い咆哮で威嚇。創造者としての誇りを見せる。

第3話「崩落するシグマ」
激闘の末、飛び上がり着地の瞬間にミサイルが腹部の弱点に直撃。厚い装甲が割れ、生体組織が露わになり、初めての激痛に全身のネオンが赤く乱反射。「ガォォォォォン！」という断末魔の咆哮を上げ、悶えながらも自らの傷を氷で塞ごうとするが、重荷となって動きが鈍る。

その隙を突かれ、電撃の尻尾を掴み上げられ、自らが建設し守るはずだった未完成の海底基地へと投げ込まれる。最期、大爆発の直前、翅が虹色に発光し、深海に花びらのように散っていった。敵幹部は「ただの失敗作か」と切り捨てたが、その最期は美しかった。

Beneath thick transparent armor, organic tissue pulsates; from purple moth-wings, jellyfish tentacles drift elegantly. The trident electrode at its tail-tip resembles a royal scepter, while its compound eyes glow blue, changing color with emotion. Most notably, when its abdominal armor cracks, the chaotic red light reveals its first experience of "pain."

[Ecology & Origins]

Beneath the thick outer shell exists organic tissue protected by an organic membrane. Due to respiratory requirements, the abdomen possesses a design weakness where thick armor cannot be installed.

Initially, "pain sensation" was considered a bug, but was actually a self-defense system modeled after deep-sea creatures' survival instincts. By knowing pain, it gained the "feeling of being alive," enabling more efficient construction. However, this "pain" would, in its final moments, give birth to the emotion of "fear" for the first time.

Communication occurs not through human speech, but through "Grrrrr..." "GWOOOOOOOH!" "Guuu..." and other roaring tones combined with compound eye glow patterns. When swearing loyalty, it lowers its tail; when enraged, its entire body neon glows purple.

[Episodes]

Episode 1: "Invitation from the Deep"
Still nameless, GASDRON was underestimated by the hero as "just a monster" and attacked. However, it took no damage whatsoever and instead overwhelmed the opponent, demonstrating the terror of a walking fortress.

Episode 2: "The Constructor's Pride"
When the hero came to destroy the undersea base, GASDRON defended it for the first time. Showing attachment to the fortress built by its own hands, it threatened with a low "Grrrrr..." growl, displaying the pride of a creator.

Episode 3: "The Collapsing Sigma"
After fierce combat, a missile struck its abdominal weakness at the moment of jumping and landing. Thick armor cracked, organic tissue exposed, and its entire body's neon reflected chaotic red from the first intense pain. Raising a death-throe howl of "GWOOOOOOOH!", it writhed while attempting to seal its wound with ice, but the burden dulled its movements.

Taking advantage of that opening, the hero grabbed its electric tail and threw it into the unfinished undersea base that GASDRON was supposed to build and protect. In its final moments, just before the massive explosion, its wings glowed rainbow-colored, scattering like flower petals into the deep sea. The enemy commander dismissed it as "just a defective failure," yet its end was beautiful.
