You have may have noticed I haven’t been posting nearly as much canonical Rubric Maxim content over the past months. I’ve been mostly focusing on posting just kind of cute dress-ups for the characters and now the dating sim. It’s not because I’ve lost interest in the story. On the contrary, it’s because I’ve been working so much on writing Part 7 of the story. I’ve been immersed in the plot so I’ve seen the art as a bit more of a distraction or change of pace. I’m hoping that Part 7 will be done by the end of August and it’s going to be the best (and longest) part of the story. Also, I took off most of the July 4th weekend. It was nice to take a break. So I think I’m going to take some more time off until Monday when I release the first round of Dating in the Rubricverse. I have one thing I might post in the next couple of days, but I’m not sure.
Create an image of the two characters walking together down an abandoned narrow street in an Edwardian Era city. The street runs through a slum, with tenement buildings to either side. The atmosphere is gloomy and dreary, with a heavy and oppressive rain falling. The first character is a tall, lanky boy with an old fashioned black cloak, black shaggy hair and exhausted eyes.
