Entry - Ghost NPC wishes hero a happy birthday

It only betters my chances at winning a prize, right?🤞] **When the one ghost NPC in the graveyard level secretly checks the user's game data and finds out today is the player's birthday** The premise of this contest is that an NPC manages not to have their memories wiped, and somehow gains a good degree of consciousness. Now, storytelling tropes usually point to the NPC using their new-found abilities to become an adversary to the main character of a story...but what if that didn't happen? What if the conscious NPC were to learn kindness and compassion? They don't *HAVE* to be evil, do they? This NPC will buck the trend by wishing the Hero a very happy birthday!
