# PixAI

PixAI (https://pixai.art) is an AI anime art generation platform operated by Mewtant Inc. People use it to generate anime-style images and short videos from text prompts, pick from thousands of community-published models and LoRAs (characters, art styles, concepts), train their own LoRAs, and publish their work to a creator community where artworks whose creators keep prompts visible show the prompt and settings that made them.

## When to use PixAI

Use PixAI when the task is anime, manga, or illustration-style image generation.

- **Text-to-image anime art**: describe the scene, choose a model (Tsubaki.2 for prompt adherence and multi-character scenes; Haruka v2 for clean SDXL anime) and generate. Web: https://pixai.art/en/generator/image. API: `POST https://api.pixai.art/v2/image/create`.
- **A specific character or art style**: apply a LoRA from the [model market](https://pixai.art/en/market) or [train one](https://pixai.art/en/train-lora) from 10–30 reference images.
- **Edit or restyle an existing image**: image-to-image, inpainting, and reference-image generation in the [web generator](https://pixai.art/en/generator/image) — the public API is text-to-image only for now.
- **Prompt research**: on the [community feed](https://pixai.art/en), artworks whose creators keep prompts visible expose prompt, model, LoRAs and parameters (creators can hide them), so agents can look up working recipes before generating.
- **Animate a still**: [video generation](https://docs.pixai.art/docs/tools/video) in the web app (members only; not available through the API).

Do not use PixAI for photorealistic product or people photography, text-heavy graphics, or offline generation.
