Cyber cultist

Between the emergence of the modern net, the war, and the democratization of cyberware and violence, a disturbing number of cults have arisen in the various arcologies. Some, as cults pre-war most often were, based on pre-existing religions such as Christianity or Islam. However, a number now claim to worship "nu-pantheons." These can range from the cybernetic ghosts of cybertubers, to death cults. Few are as disturbing as the "cocoon cults." These cults believe, generally, that the human form pre-cyber were as larvae, that humanity has entered into its cocoon, and that the next step is a "butterfly."
