The Moorish castle in Gibraltar
Located in modern day United Kingdom, Gibraltar (sorry Spanish viewers). The Gibraltar peninsula (named after Tariq ibn Ziyad), is strategicly an immensely important location for the controller decides who goes through the namesake's strait. As such many nations including the Umayyad fortified the peninsula with the various Moorish kingdoms being among the longest ruler with a grand total of 727 years in total.
