なんたること

A surreal and nostalgic scene of an abandoned mountain train station at dusk, named "Nosegataki Station" (能勢ヶ滝駅). The platform is old and made of cracked concrete, overgrown with weeds and reflecting puddles. To the right in the foreground, there is a slightly tilted wooden station sign with the name written in expressive Japanese brushstrokes. Just beside the sign, a wooden bench is placed in the correct direction, facing the tracks, as it would be in a real train station. The bench is carved with the word “ありがとう” ("Thank you") in Japanese, giving a subtle but unsettling feeling. Next to the bench stands a softly glowing Showa-era vending machine, rusty and faded. The tracks stretch forward and disappear into a foggy valley, where a distant waterfall silhouette is barely visible. In the background, a small station building with a non-working automatic ticket gate stands quietly. The sky is filled with a dramatic dusk gradient of orange and navy, while heavy mist blurs the edges of the scenery. There are no people anywhere, yet the place feels strangely familiar — a forgotten station that exists outside of time.
