Why Use Velvette Detailer? When mixing data sets (checkpoints or lora), the base style can lose strength, contrast, or clarity. This detailer acts as a style stabilizer, restoring the original visual identity without resorting to aggressive negatives or complex indicator engineering.Velvette Detailer – Update 2025This is a proper evolution of the original Velvette Detailer. Not a replacement, not a hotfix, and not locked to a single checkpoint.Version 2 maintains the same purpose as version 1: to reinforce the main style of the Checkpoints when they are diluted — but applies it with better consistency, higher stability, and improved control across a wide range of checkpoints. What Changed from V1?V1 already worked well across checkpoints, and that remains true. What V2 improves is how strongly and cleanly the style is reinforced, especially in more complex generations.V2 is built on a Rank 64 architecture with a significantly higher internal information density. In practice, this allows the style to hold its shape better without forcing the model or breaking composition.Well, I wrote this a few weeks ago...Hello!, I was wondering whether to refine the Velvette checkpoint or refine a lora to correct the offset of the base style of version 1 (the thing is that I did both, but I will only publish the lora since the checkpoint is a kind of draft and my hands broke and I am honestly too lazy to fix it), well in summary... this is made to generate the base style that was diluted by CuteLatte_ (I only did it to no longer use cutelatte in the negatives and thus be able to generate the model's styles without much discrepancy), the idea was to highlight certain strokes that were lost when mixing Cutelatte with pvdc and I think it should work to recreate danbooru's styles more faithfully although it is only made for Velvette, I have not tested it with anything else).
