I was retraining my Pony version, so I went ahead and gave Illustrious a try, after a couple of iterations, I feel like it works. "shading eyes" works on Illustrious, so now is my favorite model.

About the LoRA, the main tag is ict style, but having nose,lips helps the model to not go flat on the face. Anime character tags also make it go flat, as you can see on my Raiden Shogun image, so my recommendation is to use a character LoRA.
