Melty

In "The Rising of the Shield Hero," Melty Q Melromarc is a significant character whose history is marked by several key events. She was the Second and Crown Princess of Melromarc and became the new Queen following her mother's death and the war against Faubrey. Her mother, while caring, also manipulated Melty for political gain, including using her to expose the Three Heroes Church and entrusting her to Naofumi, the Shield Hero.

Melty has an overall blue color design with bra-length blue hair tied in two curly pigtails and blue eyes. She wears fancy frilly clothes that reflect her royal status. Despite her young age, she is notably kind and unprejudiced towards commoners and Demi-humans, unlike most nobles in the Melromarc Kingdom.

In the anime episode titled "Melty," Naofumi and his party encounter Melty at the East Village. She befriends Filo and wants to travel with them to the Castle Town of Melromarc, explaining that she got separated from her guards.

Melty is inspired by and deeply admires Naofumi, which may border on a crush, although she doesn't indulge in it due to their age difference and her knowledge that Raphtalia loves him.

Melty had an older brother who died while she was still a baby, almost certainly poisoned by her sister Malty.
