Fafnir
Fafnir, from Icelandic-Norse mythology, was originally a dwarf and the son of the dwarf king Hreidmar. The death of his brother รtr at the hands of the รsir gods Odin, Loki, and Hลnir brought a mighty treasure of gold into the familyโs possession โ paid as blood compensation for the slain brother. But the cursed gold awakened Fafnirโs greed. His desire grew so overwhelming that he killed his own father to seize the treasure, hoarding and guarding it within a cave. Through this act, Fafnir transformed into a dragon. In the end, he was slain by Sigurd.
The greed for brilliance and beauty shall mark the beginning of this suite.
