She became orphaned by Arczeckhi and learned to survive on her own before joining a mercenary band that were returning from a Rathess expedition. Even after becoming a Lunar, she had yet to appreciate the distinction between beastmen and Wyld mutants like the Arczeckhi so is slow to appreciate Lunar customs and prefers the trappings of River League culture with some minimal Realm influence.
