Hood Aspect: Fire Lineage: Outcaste Notable favored: Athletics, Survival Character Concept: Fiery Trailblazer Born in a Wyld Zone from a population originally derived from Shogunate Forces that fought against the Balorian Crusade, the survivors had since become assimilated with the occasional Dragon-Blooded breaking from the assimilation. Her home culture if it could be called that was after many generations more close to fae sense of logic and aesthetics than anything resembling the Shogunate. She had the good fortune to have an Exalted parent rather than be among the assimilated. However, after her father died her upbringing was taken up by a disguised fae noble as part of the fae’s game. With the assistance of the Circle, she learned the depths of the fae’s machinations. She like most of her community, she forgot her original name. The name “Hood” is derived from a custom of a “wyld name” to combat wyld addiction. A regular name could have too many interpretations but as long as she acted as “Hood” the wyld would be less likely to twist her beyond being recognizable as “Hood”. Among issues from being in the Wyld was difficulty understanding how multidimensional normal people were and did not regard the assimilated as people so she was prone to assuming archetypes. One such instance was her chasing away her hearthmate’s niece because she thought that the niece was assimilated. The discovery of that resulted in a schism in the hearth that is still mending. The hearthmate’s family member has returned as a Lunar and it was learn that Hood and her were distant cousins so the relationship is rocky. She and most of her hearth that are native are named after real life Fairy Tales, specifically Grimm Fairy Tales while outsiders from beyond her community tend to be named after content from Lewis Carrol and Hans Christian Anderson.
