白金竜 アルバス・アウレオン
——「黎明の守護者」
太古の地殻変動と隕石の衝突によって生まれた、白金の結晶と有機金属が融合した存在。アルバス・アウレオンは「自然が創造した機械生命体」とも言える竜で、独自の生態系を持つ。
象牙色の装甲は、純度の高い白金鉱物が層状に堆積したもの。表面には風雨と年月によって刻まれた微細な傷が無数にあり、それが「生きた歴史」として美しい輝きを放つ。黄金の結晶翼は地底深くで育ったレアメタル鉱石が結晶化したもので、幾何学的なエッジは光を屈折させ、虹色の残像を描く。
性格は温和で知的。人間の文明を「観察する」ことを好み、滅びゆく都市の図書館や資料館に姿を現す。戦闘能力は極めて高いが、攻撃的ではなく「守護」が本能。特に知識や文化、技術の遺産を守ることに執念を見せる。
翼の表面に刻まれた亀裂は、かつての大戦で自らの身を盾にして文明を守った際の傷。治癒能力があるはずの竜体が意図的にこの傷を残しているのは「忘れないための証」として。
寡黙な口調で、古風な言葉遣いをする。相手を「小さき者」と呼びながらも、決して見下すことなく慈愛の眼差しを向ける。
Platinum Dragon Albus Aureon
—"The Guardian of Dawn"
A being born from ancient crustal shifts and meteorite impacts, where platinum crystals fused with organic metallic compounds. Albus Aureon is a dragon that could be described as "mechanical life created by nature itself," possessing its own unique ecosystem.
The ivory armor consists of high-purity platinum minerals deposited in layers. Countless microscopic scars mark its surface—weathered by wind and rain over eons—radiating a beautiful brilliance as "living history." The golden crystalline wings formed from rare metal ores that grew deep underground, their geometric edges refracting light to paint rainbow afterimages.
Gentle and intellectual in nature, Albus prefers to "observe" human civilization, appearing in the libraries and archives of dying cities. Though possessing formidable combat capabilities, it is not aggressive; "protection" is its instinct. It shows particular devotion to safeguarding knowledge, culture, and technological heritage.
The cracks etched across its wing surfaces are scars from a great war long ago, when Albus shielded civilization with its own body. Despite possessing regenerative abilities, the dragon intentionally retains these wounds as "proof to never forget."
Speaks sparingly with archaic diction. While referring to others as "little ones," it does so without condescension, regarding them with benevolent eyes.
