Carol Ferris, also known as Star Sapphire, is a major character in the DC Comics universe. Carol is Green Lantern Hal Jordan's boss and love interest who was chosen to become Star Sapphire. She is a former supervillainess and an enemy turned ally of Green Lantern and the Justice League, as well as a member of the Violet Lantern Corps (Star Sapphire Corps).
