Yae is a slender young woman of average height with a fair complexion. Her dark blue hair is styled into a layered, chin-length cut with two shoulder-length locks in front and the back section left long, which appears to be tied back but is, in reality, left loose. She has orange eyes with black pupils framed by thick and long eyelashes. Yae has three moles lined horizontally under each of her eyes, which gradually grow in size as it goes out from the corner of her eyes. Another noticeable feature about her, is that she has a golden rose tattoo on her upper left arm, a symbol that shows her Kobara Clan ancestry; which is generally covered by her regular outfit. She has a golden wedding ring worn around her left ring finger with the initials of her significant others engraved inside.
Yae wears a modified black version of the Demon Slayer uniform with straight lines jacket and a knee length skirt in place of the standard hakama pants. Layered over this, she wore a dark bluish-black haori with gold rose patterns along the hem. With this, she wears ankle high white tabi socks with black zōri and golden straps.
