Fitoria

Fitoria is a significant character in "The Rising of the Shield Hero" series, serving as the Queen of the Filolials and the Carriage Hero. She was raised by a previous Shield Hero and has lived for over 500 years. Fitoria was introduced as a supporting character in the web novel and manga adaptations of the series. She has a deep concern for the world and is willing to take extreme measures to protect it, such as disposing of the legendary heroes if they are fighting among themselves.

In the story, Fitoria approaches Naofumi's group and challenges Filo, another Filolial, to a duel. After Filo passes the test, Fitoria names her as her successor and unlocks all of Naofumi's Filolial Shield Series. Fitoria also has three other successors, Sakura, Yuki, and Kou, who are ready to assume her position in the future.

Fitoria's past includes conflicts, such as her battle against the Dragon Emperor. She has a pessimistic view of humanity and is willing to resort to any measure to protect the world, even if it means forcibly continuing the Legendary Hero cycle or allowing the Guardian Beasts to rampage.

She has a close relationship with Naofumi, seeing similarities between him and her past Hero who raised her. Fitoria believes that Naofumi can't be a bad person due to raising a worthy Filolial Queen.

Fitoria's history and role in the series are detailed in various sources within the "The Rising of the Shield Hero" universe, including the web novel, manga, and spin-off series.
