【巨烈獣 サラマンダー / Kyoretsu-ju Salamander】
『勇者ライディーン』第35話「熱火竜サラマンダーの炎」に登場する妖魔帝国の巨烈獣。幹部の激怒巨烈（げきどきょれつ）が操る、炎をまとう凶悪なドラゴン型メカです。
触れたものを何でも吸収して自分のエネルギーに変えてしまう恐ろしい装置を持っています。超高温の熱と、食い込むような鋭いウロコでライディーンを苦しめましたが、「急激に熱を奪われること」が弱点でした。最後は氷山に誘い込まれて熱を奪われ、倒されてしまいます。

A Kyoretsu-ju (Giant Brutal Beast) of the Yoma Empire that appears in episode 35 of "Brave Raideen," titled "The Flames of the Hot Fire Dragon Salamander." Piloted by the executive Gekido Kyoretsu, it is a ferocious dragon-type mecha clad in fire.
It is equipped with a terrifying built-in device that absorbs anything it touches and converts it into its own energy. It tormented Raideen with its ultra-high temperatures and sharp scales, but its weakness was "a rapid loss of heat." In the end, it was lured into an iceberg, drained of its heat, and defeated.
