【劇中設定・ストーリー】

暗黒星団ゴアの生物部門が開発・投入した恐るべき生体メカ。金属の重装甲で覆われているが、劇中中盤にて機体の大部分が「生身の肉体」であることが判明する。 素体となったのは、ゴア軍によって無理やり捕獲された雌のジャッカルとユキヒョウである。両者ともに赤子を産み落とした直後に引き離され、サイボーグ手術と巨大化光線を浴びせられた悲劇的な背景を持つ。 本来は雪原の生物を統べる守護神として設計されたが、子供を奪われた母親の本能がプログラムを上書きし、行き場のない喪失感と怒りを、大河タケルが搭乗するヒーローロボット「ゴッドカイザー」へと向け、激しい攻撃を加える。 激戦の最中、戦場に迷い込んだ幼い子供たちが操縦する「四足獣型の支援ロボット」を目撃したアヌビス・レパードンは、そのシルエットを「奪われた自分たちの赤子」と錯覚してしまう。我が子を取り戻そうと手を伸ばすが、その巨大な姿に驚いた四足獣型ロボットは逃げ出し、誤って底なし沼へと転落し絶体絶命の危機に陥る。 それを見たアヌビス・レパードンは、自らの危険も顧みず底なし沼へと飛び込み、身を挺して四足獣型ロボットを救い出す。しかし、それを「敵の隙」と誤認したゴッドカイザーが必殺技「ゴッドファイナルブレイク」を放ち、アヌビス・レパードンの胸部を非情にも貫く。 致命傷を負い、泥深い沼へと沈みゆくアヌビス・レパードンであったが、陸に引き上げられて無事に怯える四足獣型ロボットを見つめるその瞳には、母としての優しい光が宿っていた。「我が子は無事だ」と安心したかのように、機甲冥神は静かに微笑むような表情を残し、沼の底で大爆発を遂げる。エンディング後のナレーションでは、「二体の魂は、冥界で本当の子供たちと再会できた」という示唆が語られる。

A terrifying bio-mecha deployed by the biological division of the invading Dark Star Cluster Goa. While it appears to be covered in heavy metal armor, a scene mid-episode reveals that the vast majority of its body is composed of living flesh. The base organisms were a female jackal and a female snow leopard, ruthlessly captured by the Goa army. Both mothers share a tragic history of being forcibly taken immediately after giving birth, subjected to cyborg surgery, and bathed in a giantification ray. Originally designed to be a guardian deity of the snowfields, the maternal instinct of the grieving mothers overwrote its programming. Their inescapable grief and fury were redirected as a fierce assault against the hero mecha, "God Kaiser," piloted by Takeru Taiga. During the fierce battle, Anubis Leopardon spots a small, quadrupedal support robot piloted by young children on the battlefield. Blinded by instinct, the cyborg monster mistakes the silhouette of the small robot for their own stolen babies. As Anubis Leopardon reaches out to take them back, the terrified little robot flees from the giant beast and accidentally falls into a deadly bottomless swamp. Without regard for its own safety, Anubis Leopardon plunges into the swamp, risking its life to save the quadrupedal robot. However, mistaking this heroic action for a vulnerability, God Kaiser unleashes its ultimate finishing move, "God Final Break," mercilessly piercing Anubis Leopardon's chest. Sinking deep into the muddy swamp with a fatal wound, Anubis Leopardon looks toward the shore. Seeing the small quadrupedal robot safe, the fierce eyes of the beast soften with a gentle, motherly light. Believing their "children" are finally safe, the Armored Underworld God leaves behind a peaceful, smiling expression before exploding beneath the murky depths. Following the ending theme, a narration suggests that "the two souls were finally reunited with their true children in the underworld."
