Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. This time I bring you Kuriko Kazetsubaki from Maburaho!

Kuriko Kazetsubaki is one of the central heroines of Maburaho and a second-year student at Aoi Academy. A member of the influential Kazetsubaki family, she is assigned to protect Kazuki Shikimori after discovering the extraordinary genetic value of his magic. Although she initially appears as an elegant, confident young woman with impeccable manners, Kuriko quickly proves herself to be energetic, assertive, and surprisingly playful. She often takes the initiative in both combat and everyday situations, acting as one of the driving forces behind the group's adventures while never hesitating to put herself in danger to protect those she cares about.

Despite her flirtatious attitude and frequent teasing of Kazuki, Kuriko possesses a strong sense of duty and unwavering loyalty. She is highly skilled in magic, capable of handling dangerous situations with remarkable composure, yet beneath her confident exterior lies genuine kindness and emotional vulnerability. Her growing affection for Kazuki develops naturally throughout the story, balancing comedic romantic moments with sincere emotional support. This combination of elegance, confidence, compassion, and occasional jealousy makes her one of the franchise's most beloved heroines.

Her character design perfectly captures the early-2000s magical school aesthetic. Her long golden-blonde hair, striking crimson eyes, and distinctive upward-curving ahoge create an instantly recognizable appearance. Her academy uniform combines refined feminine details with corset-inspired tailoring, while her alternate outfits showcase everything from elegant dresses and magical attire to playful costumes. Throughout the series, Kuriko maintains an appearance that blends aristocratic sophistication with energetic charm, making her one of the visual icons of Maburaho.
