Description

He is from a fun-made Company I am working on. i find that warhammer 40k had no underwater space marine so I stared them a few weeks age and I have to Ben.

Full Name: Ben Kael Thalasson Age: 18 Homeworld: Thalassus Prime Birthplace: The Great Fishing Fleets Chapter: The Abyssal Wardens Company: 10th Company — The Young Tides Rank: Space Marine Scout Specialization: Underwater Reconnaissance, Survival and Infiltration Chapter Motto: "From the Depths, We Rise."

A Family's Dream

Ben Kael Thalasson was born aboard one of the great family fishing submarines that roam the endless oceans of Thalassus Prime.

For generations, the Thalasson family had served aboard the fishing fleets, navigating the crushing depths, harvesting the ocean's bounty, and surviving dangers that would kill ordinary Imperial citizens.

Yet the family carried another tradition: the dream of joining the Abyssal Wardens.

Ben's grandfather had once been selected as an Aspirant of the Chapter. Though he survived the early trials, he ultimately failed to meet the requirements to become a Space Marine. He returned to his family and resumed his life among the fishing fleets.

Years later, Ben's father followed the same path. He too was selected, trained, and tested. Like his father before him, he was eventually returned to the fishing fleets.

Neither man considered his service a disgrace. Both had survived trials that few Imperial citizens could endure, and both remained proud of their connection to the Chapter.

When Ben was born, neither expected him to accomplish what they could not.

But the ocean had other plans.

The Boy Who Belonged to the Sea

Ben learned to swim almost as soon as he could walk.

By the age of five, he was helping his family aboard their submarine, learning to identify dangerous marine creatures, maintain diving equipment, and navigate the underwater currents.

He had spent so much of his childhood aboard ships and beneath the waves that solid ground seemed strange to him.

At eight years old, Ben was selected for recruitment into the Abyssal Wardens.

His grandfather embraced him before he departed.

His father placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Remember, Ben. You do not have to become a Battle-Brother to make us proud."

Ben smiled.

"I know, Dad. But I'm going to try."

The First Trials — Ages Eight to Ten

For two years, Ben underwent the Chapter's initial selection trials.

He was tested in survival, endurance, swimming, deep-water diving, combat, and physical conditioning.

His upbringing aboard the fishing fleets gave him an advantage in the water. He understood currents, pressure, and the dangers of the deep.

However, land-based training proved more difficult.

Ben had to learn how to fight and survive in environments completely unfamiliar to him.

He struggled, adapted, and improved.

At ten years old, he passed the First Trials and was approved for the beginning of gene-seed implantation.

The Years of Transformation

Under the supervision of the Chapter's Apothecaries, Ben began the long transformation toward becoming an Adeptus Astartes.

His body adapted successfully to the implanted organs, and he continued his education and combat training.

He learned the history of the Abyssal Wardens, the teachings of the Emperor, and the duties expected of a Space Marine.

His training expanded beyond the oceans.

Ben learned to fight aboard voidships, within hive cities, across hostile landscapes, and in the darkness of underwater ruins.

Throughout these years, he remained in contact with his family whenever circumstances permitted.

His father and grandfather followed his progress with pride.

The Young Tides — Age Eighteen

At eighteen years old, Ben Kael Thalasson finally earned his place in the 10th Company of the Abyssal Wardens.

The Young Tides.

He was now a Space Marine Scout.

When the news reached his family's fishing submarine, his grandfather sat in silence for several moments.

His father read the message twice.

Then his grandfather began to laugh.

"Three generations," the old fisherman whispered. "Three generations, and one of us finally made it."

But Ben's journey was far from over.

His first assignments would take him into dangerous underwater territories, hostile Imperial worlds, and the darkness between the stars.

His officers had already noticed his exceptional ability to navigate and survive in aquatic environments.

Although newly assigned to the Young Tides, Ben had begun demonstrating the instincts of a promising reconnaissance specialist.

He still had much to learn about commanding himself in battle, operating with his squad, and surviving against the enemies of the Imperium.

One day, if he proved worthy, he might earn the right to serve as a full Battle-Brother.

For now, Ben wore the armor of a Scout.

And he wore it proudly.

For the Thalasson family, the dream of three generations had finally reached the 10th Company.

For Ben Kael Thalasson, his future within the Abyssal Wardens was only beginning.

"From the Depths, We Rise."
