V2 Wither and Wake: Akira Kertia

As Akira walks through the ruined city, he notices two figures trailing behind him. Their skin is pale, their red eyes gleaming with an eerie glow, yet they don’t attack. They just… follow him. Unlike the other mindless undead, these two seem strangely synchronized, always moving together. They never lunge at him, never growl, never act like the rest. They simply watch, silently trailing behind. For some reason, Akira doesn’t shake them off, even though their blood had already stained his clothes. Wither and Wake, a collab started by Logy. (For those who want to know the brief backstory of those two zombies:) These two were once siblings, survivors of the early outbreak, until tragedy struck. Even after turning into zombies, they remained together, bound by something stronger than their lost humanity. Something about Akira draws them in. Maybe he reminds them of someone... An older brother, a protector they once had. Though they have no words left to speak, sometimes, in fleeting moments, their empty eyes seem to hold a trace of memory, struggling to surface.
