Halian

Halilan Caste: Zenith Supernal: Lore Notable favored: Occult, Performance Character concept: Aspiring Sorceress-Queen Halilan is from Prasad but she and her family were taken by Fair Folk in the Dreaming Sea and taken into the Wyld where she and her family were forced to slave away constructing a break-through. Her parents hid her before they were sacrificed and she crossed through the break-through into a freehold all the way in the West. She studied some artifacts left behind by a Shogunate battle before encountering a Lunar named Bellflower. Bellflower was an anathema but Halilan had already witnessed the horrors of the wyld so was more than happy to trade the predations of fae for the protection of a “trickster”. Bellflower was wild so Halilan had to teach Bellflower even language and exalted in the process. She was a firm believer of the Pure Way but as a Zenith the Unconquered Sun spoke directly towards her so she knew she had been chosen by the Sun… Except there is an infernal cult local to the South called the Darienites that believe that the Unconquered Sun and Lieger are brothers… So, by both the Pure Way and Darienite rumors… she was assumed a demon. It took a long debate with a player solar and an exorcist performing an exorcism on her to prove she was not being harmed to convince her otherwise. The good news for the people she encountered before finding out she was not an anathema, demons are not necessarily malicious so she had a short reign as a confusingly (for at least the players) benevolent demon, especially when she has proven to consistently be one of the most compassionate yet uncompromising characters they met to fit her role as a Zenith. Only Bellflower knows her Clan and Jati name. She stopped using her Clan and Jati name after she Exalted and thought she was an anathema. The most she hinted on that matter was at least one of her parents were likely from a Caravaner Jati by the fact they were traveling.
