【概要】
このキャラクターは2004年4月から刊行されている『とある魔術の禁書目録(インデックス)』(以下『旧約 禁書』と記載)及びそのスピンオフ作品群より登場したSS(SP巻収録)、本編では旧18巻初出のヒロインの一人・レイヴィニア＝バードウェイ(Leivinia=Birdway)をモデルとしたLoRAです。
ちなみにレイヴィニアは『黄金夜明』系魔術結社『明け色の陽射し』のボスを務める女性魔術師であり、外見年齢12歳前後だが、近代西洋魔術師の中でも一等級の実力を持ち、適当な魔術で魔術師集団を殲滅したり、敵対する魔術結社を単独で潰した事もある恐ろしい幼女。魔神や偉大な先代たちを除けば屈指の実力と言えるのだが、
・ミックスジュースをノンアルコールカクテルとのたまう。
・ブラのお世話が要らないのを非常に気にしている。
・妹や十歳の幼女と女子力を競ってパンツ丸出しレベルの小競り合いを繰り広げる。

科学には否定的ではなくむしろ最新技術も嗜む。アレイスター=クロウリー曰く「自分の欠片を最も色濃く受け継いでいる」のが彼女達らしい。
パトリシア=バードウェイという学園都市に住む妹がおり、自分を犠牲にしてでも、彼女を救う事を選択するほど溺愛しているとの事。
また本人は絶対に認めないが、上条当麻を心のどこかで「お兄ちゃん」のように見ているようで、それをシルビアや(犬猿の仲に近い関係の)レッサー等に茶化されています。
戦闘では『象徴武器』という、火は杖、水は杯、風は短剣、地は盤。四種象徴武器はその魔術的な性質をもって世界の理を表現し、扱う者の技量次第では世界の全てを制御し得る術式を主に得意としています。

This character is modeled after Leivinia Birdway, one of the heroines who first appeared in the SS (special issue) of "A Certain Magical Index" (hereafter referred to as "Old Testament Index") and its spin-off works, published since April 2004, and who first appeared in Volume 18 of the original series. Leivinia has no specific motif, and this is her first creation, entirely self-taught.
Leivinia is a female magician who serves as the boss of the "Golden Dawn"-affiliated magical society "Dawning Sunshine." While appearing to be around 12 years old, she possesses first-rate abilities among modern Western magicians, a terrifying young girl who has wiped out entire groups of magicians with random magic and single-handedly crushed rival magical societies. She is one of the most talented magicians, excluding demons and her great predecessors.
- She calls mixed juice a non-alcoholic cocktail.
- She's very concerned about not needing to take care of her bra.
- She competes with her younger sister and a ten-year-old girl in feminine combat, often resulting in panty-showing skirmishes.

She is not opposed to science, and in fact enjoys the latest technology. According to Aleister Crowley, they are the ones who "have inherited the strongest pieces of himself."
She has a younger sister named Patricia Birdway who lives in Academy City, and she dotes on her so much that she would sacrifice herself to save her.
Although she would never admit it, she seems to view Kamijou Touma as an "older brother" somewhere in her heart, which is teased by Sylvia and Lesser (with whom she is almost at odds).
In battle, she uses "symbolic weapons": a staff for fire, a cup for water, a dagger for wind, and a board for earth. The four symbolic weapons express the principles of the world with their magical properties, and depending on the skill of the wielder, they are particularly skilled in magic formulas that can control everything in the world.
