メカブースト「デスカメル」
【機体概要】
デスカメルは、テレビアニメ『無敵超人ザンボット3』に登場する、異星文明ガイゾックが地球侵略のために送り込んだ巨大ロボット（メカブースト）です。第15話「海に消えた老将」に登場し、強力な武装と頑強な装甲で主人公たちを苦しめました。
【アニメ本編での活躍（第15話「海に消えた老将」）】
本機は、神ファミリーの拠点であるキング・ビアルへ補給物資を運ぶ輸送艦隊を襲撃しました。艦隊を率いていたのは、兵左衛門の旧友であるジェイムス提督です。デスカメルは激しい攻撃でジェイムス提督の艦を大破させ、応戦に出たザンボ・エースをも海中へと叩き落とすほどの圧倒的な戦闘力を見せつけました。
しかし、ジェイムス提督の海上艦隊は囮（おとり）であり、真の目的は海中を進む潜水艦隊による隠密補給作戦でした。補給の成功を見届けたジェイムス提督は、決死の覚悟でデスカメルに特攻を仕掛けます。特攻による致命傷には至らなかったものの、この壮絶な犠牲と陽動の末に、最終的にデスカメルはザンボット3によって撃破されました。

Descamel is a giant robot (Mecha Boost) sent by the alien civilization Gaizok for the invasion of Earth in the TV anime Invincible Super Man Zambot 3. Appearing in Episode 15, "The Old General Who Vanished in the Sea," it tormented the protagonists with its powerful weaponry and sturdy armor.
[Role in the Anime (Episode 15)]
This unit attacked the transport fleet carrying supplies to King Bial, the base of the Jin Family. The fleet was led by Admiral James, an old friend of Heizaemon. Descamel demonstrated overwhelming combat prowess, severely damaging Admiral James's ship with relentless attacks and even knocking the defending Zambot Ace into the sea.
However, James's surface fleet was merely a decoy; the true objective was a covert resupply operation using a submarine fleet traveling underwater. After confirming the success of the resupply, Admiral James launched a desperate suicide ramming attack against Descamel. Although the ramming attack did not deal a fatal blow, following this heroic sacrifice and diversion, Descamel was ultimately destroyed by Zambot 3.
