So here's a fun fact of this character; in both the hand written and my early drafts he actually dies midway through the quest and the Lightning Fist Monk would take over his role as main character until the rest of the group (Firebird, Ninja, a reformed Dark Rogue and a character I've yet to make images of) were able to revive him to which he would have unlocked all of his potential (we'll get to that) and he gains his strongest weapon the "Artist's Flare" which was a huge two handed sword that he could use with one hand. I *MAY* have been on a Chrono Trigger binge at the time as I didn't get into JRPGs until 1999+ and I wholly admit that initially the likes of Final Fantasy and DnD's Dragonlance Novels and Dragon Ball were a huge influence on what I wrote (and drew).
