Hikaru Makiba is the daughter of Danbei Makiba, a ranch owner in the countryside of Japan. She grew up assisting with farm work and caring for the animals on her family's ranch. Her life changes when she becomes involved with Duke Fleed and the battle against the Vegan Empire.
