Ceylon tea

Ceylon teas are produced in the highlands of Sri Lanka (mostly black teas). Tea-growing regions are categorized by altitude: Nuwara Eliya is the highest elevation tea. It is a delicate, floral fragrance and light, brisk flavor. Better iced or served with lemon. Uva: Black tea with a distinctively sweet flavor and woodsy aroma that can handle a bit of milk. Dimbula: From a region of mountain slopes, some teas are full-bodied, while others are delicate, but most are mellow in flavor. Uda Pussellawa: Similar to Nuwara, but darker, with a pinkish hue and a stronger flavor. Kandy: Teas which vary in flavor depending on exposure to monsoon winds. Generally full-bodied, malty and copper-hued. Ruhuna and Sabaragamuwa: Grown in low elevation regions, with diverse flavors from robust malty to a much lighter one. All are very good !
