Nanodesu?
While the majority of the Abyssal ships are vengeful, heartless monsters, the ex-IJN destroyer Inazuma is one of several exceptions. Since her death by being torpedoed by an Abyssal submarine on 14 May 1944 and subsequent resurrection as an Abyssal ship, Inazuma carried over her timid personality from her former shipgirl self, and is somewhat of an innocent outlier in the Abyssal Fleet. She is known to be rather reluctant of being forced to kill her Japanese friends, including on 26 October 1944 during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, when she finished off the Kagerou-class destroyer Nowaki with torpedoes 105 km southeast of Legaspi (Nowaki had been crippled by gunfire from Abyssal light cruisers just before then). It was only at the end of the Pacific War in 1945 when Inazuma's soul was freed and eventually reborn into an Ikazuchi-class destroyer escort during the early days of the Cold War.
