Every time I chat with @Danklaw I'm sure to learn something. Just recently he told me that Umlaute (ä ö ü) are usually not used in Dutch, but there's some exceptions, mostly words that are taken from German... like Döner for example, which is in fact not a Turkish word (or invention).
