Yui Segawa is absolutely stunned by what she sees. "Surprise Mom!" A whole picnic spread lays before Yui. Yui struggles to inquire further. "H-how did you get this all set up?" The two Segawa siblings give comically mischievous laughs, then they speak honestly. Takuto begins. "It's easy, Mom. I told Mirei about school closing early because of the electrical problem, and then she said we should do something fun!" Yui Segawa looks to her elder daughter Mirei. Mirei chuckles. "I received a notification on my phone about the school closure. Takuto called me and confirmed what the notification said. I had the day off and nothing planned, so given the good weather...I figured why not a picnic? Take some existing rice and vegetables, cook up some quick omelettes, make some sandwiches (too many, now that I think about it 😅) and some drinks...and here we are!" Yui Segawa looks at her two children and her eyes tear up. "You two, my- no, our precious children. Your father...he wou- he would be so proud of you two!" Both Mirei and Takuto come together and hug their mother.
