Concept - Elite Bandit Investigator

[Author's note: If you know the character who this investigator is based off of, well done. For those who don't, it's not really important, but if you want to know, check the prompt] I remember, back around April of this year, I started a series of concept illustrations and story/lore for Outlaw Country, as a development exercise. As the story delves deeper into the inner-workings of Outlaw Country, it would make sense to produce more of these story-building concept pieces. Well, I think it would be good for me to continue this trend, as it would allow me to upload more, keep everyone updated, and play around with ideas. So, who we have here is an expert investigator who now works for General Lekshana Jiang [Reference: https://pixai.art/artwork/2003838444415335823?utm_source=copy_web]. He was a high-level detective with the San Angelena Police Department, decorated veteran, and all-around good guy. Well...one of his investigations put him at odds with a very powerful Senator and this Senator was able to use his influence and power to put this detective and his family at harm. Seeing he had no solution within the power structure of the Federal Union, he could only flee...run away as far as he and his family could. The detective and his family were able to make it safely to Outlaw Country. Unknown to the detective, spies under the order of General Jiang were able to find the detective and send word back to their base. The General was intrigued. The General and her intelligence team tries their best to keep a close eye on who enters and exits their territory, and General Jiang believes she has just discovered a valuable potential asset. Within minutes, the spies are given orders to approach the detective and attempt to recruit him. There is a dialog between the spies and the detective, but most of it is cordial. While General Jiang is, by definition a dictator, she realizes that power is best executed when it has the will of her people behind it. Soft Power is sometimes as strong, if not stronger, than Hard Power. As the two parties come together, they have a mutual understanding: The detective will not be involved with anything that might offend his morals. The investigation jobs are just that - Investigations. Nothing immoral and no false testimonies about unethical activities. Handlers for the General say she agrees with his demands and she would be happy to take him on as an investigator. This detective, is a simple, decent, and intelligent man. His life has been motivated by solving crimes and seeking justice for the wronged. While this zeal may have cost him his old life, he has found a second chance under General Jiang.
