She glanced at the long stretch of beach ahead, then looked back in the direction they had come from. “Have we walked a little too far?” Gakupo stopped as well. “I think we have.” They exchanged a smile and decided to find a place to rest first. They sat down near the edge of the beach. The sand here was dry and soft. Behind them was the wide-open coastline, while in front of them, waves continuously rolled onto the shore. Luka stretched her legs forward, letting her toes lightly touch the damp sand. A wave approached. Seawater washed over the tops of her feet before slowly retreating. “That feels nice.” She spoke softly. Gakupo sat beside her and turned his gaze toward the sea. “Want to take a look at where we should go over the next few days?” “Sure.” Luka took out her phone and opened the travel list they had prepared earlier. “We still have several places we haven't visited.” She scrolled through the screen. “There’s an aquarium, and there’s also a really large botanical garden.” “Wasn’t there an observation deck too?” “Right.” Luka raised her head and looked toward the distant coastline. “If we go to the observation deck tomorrow and then visit the aquarium in the afternoon, that should work.” Gakupo thought for a moment. “Then we can schedule the botanical garden for the day after tomorrow.” “But if it’s too hot, walking around the botanical garden might be tiring.” “Then we’ll go in the morning.” “What about the afternoon?” “Find a café and take a break.” Luka immediately nodded. “That sounds like a good plan.” She lowered her head and added it to the schedule on her phone. “And I saw someone recommend a dessert shop yesterday.” Gakupo turned toward her. “Dessert again?” “Traveling means eating desserts.” Luka answered seriously. Gakupo laughed. “Fine. Let’s add it to the itinerary.” Luka nodded in satisfaction. The two of them didn't rush to finalize every detail. Instead, they slowly discussed their plans while watching the sea. “Actually, I don't want to fill every day with activities.” Luka suddenly said. “We finally have some time off.” She drew a line gently in the sand with her finger. “If we rush around visiting lots of places every day, it’ll start to feel like work again.” Gakupo was silent for a moment before nodding. “I think so too.” “So we’ll only arrange two or three places each day.” “And spend the rest of the time wandering around.” “Or staying at the hotel.” Luka smiled when she said that. “Like playing with the float yesterday.” Gakupo immediately remembered how he had fallen off the float and into the water the night before, and an exasperated expression appeared on his face. “You still remember that?” “Of course.” Luka smiled so brightly that her eyes curved into crescents. “That was the funniest thing that happened yesterday.” “I think you laughed a little too happily.” “Because it really was funny.” Another wave approached. This time, neither of them moved. Cool seawater washed around their feet, while tiny bubbles lingered across the sand. Luka lowered her head and watched the waves. “Look.” “Hmm?” “Every wave is a little different.” Gakupo looked toward the sea as well. “Sometimes they’re big. Sometimes they’re barely there.” “So even if we sat here all day, it wouldn’t feel exactly the same.” As she spoke, Luka reached down and lightly touched the damp sand. After the seawater retreated, a thin trail of water remained in front of them. Gakupo suddenly spoke. “Then let’s not plan too much for this afternoon.” Luka looked up. “What do you mean?” “Go back to the hotel and rest for a while, then come back out in the evening.” “Where should we go?” “We can decide then.” Luka thought for a moment before smiling. “Okay.” She put her phone away. “This really feels like a vacation.” The two of them fell silent again. They didn't hurry to leave. They simply sat there by the beach, watching the waves repeatedly approach and retreat. Occasionally, they exchanged thoughts about their itinerary. Sometimes they talked about the scenery they had seen. And sometimes they said nothing at all. The sunlight fell across the sea, making the entire ocean shimmer with countless fragments of light. Their itinerary was still not completely decided. But perhaps that wasn't so important. As long as they could walk together, look at the sea together, and occasionally stop to rest, this vacation was already relaxed enough. After a while, Luka gently stood up. “Rested enough?” Gakupo stood up as well. “Yeah.” Luka looked ahead. “Then shall we walk a little farther?” “Sure.” They walked side by side onto the beach. It was every moment they spent together along the way. ------ Simplified Chinese 两人离开灯塔后，沿着海岸继续向前走。 走了一段路，Luka的脚步逐渐慢了下来。 她看了一眼前方绵延的沙滩，又回头望向来时的方向。 “我们是不是走得有点远了？” Gakupo也停下脚步。 “好像是。” 两人相视一笑，最后决定先找个地方休息。 他们在靠近沙滩边缘的位置坐了下来。 这里的沙子干燥而柔软，身后是一片开阔的海岸，前方则是海浪不断拍打着沙滩。 Luka将双腿伸向前方，让脚尖轻轻碰着湿润的沙地。 一道浪花靠近。 海水漫过她的脚背，又慢慢退去。 “好舒服。” 她轻声说道。 Gakupo坐在她身旁，也将视线投向海面。 “要不要看看接下来几天去哪儿？” “好啊。” Luka拿出手机，打开两人之前整理好的旅行清单。 “我们还有好几个地方没去。” 她滑动着屏幕。 “这里有水族馆，还有一个很大的植物园。” “不是还有观景台吗？” “对。” Luka抬起头，看向远处的海岸。 “如果明天去观景台，下午再去水族馆，应该刚好。” Gakupo想了一下。 “那后天可以安排植物园。” “可是如果天气太热，逛植物园可能会有点累。” “那就把植物园安排到早上。” “下午呢？” “找一家咖啡厅休息。” Luka立刻点了点头。 “这个安排很好。” 她低下头，在手机上记了下来。 “而且我昨天看到有人推荐一家甜品店。” Gakupo转头看她。 “又是甜品？” “旅行就是要吃甜品。” Luka认真地回答。 Gakupo笑了。 “好，那就加入行程。” Luka满意地点点头。 两人没有急着把所有细节都决定下来。 反而一边看着海，一边慢慢讨论。 “其实我不想把每天都排得太满。” Luka忽然说道。 “这次好不容易有假期。” 她用手指轻轻在沙地上画了一条线。 “如果每天都赶着去很多地方，反而会变得像工作。” Gakupo沉默了一会儿，点了点头。 “我也这么想。” “所以一天安排两三个地方就好了。” “剩下的时间就随便走走。” “或者待在酒店。” Luka说到这里，忍不住笑了。 “像昨天晚上那样玩泳圈也可以。” Gakupo想起昨晚自己从泳圈上翻进水里的模样，顿时露出无奈的表情。 “你还记得？” “当然记得。” Luka笑得眼睛都弯了起来。 “那可是昨天最好笑的事情。” “我倒觉得你笑得太开心了。” “因为真的很好笑嘛。” 海浪再次靠近。 这次两人都没有移动。 清凉的海水漫过脚边，细小的泡沫停留在沙地上。 Luka低头看着眼前的浪花。 “你看。” “嗯？” “每次浪来的时候都不太一样。” Gakupo也看向海面。 “有时候很大，有时候只有一点点。” “所以就算一直坐在这里，也不会觉得完全一样。” 她说着，伸手轻轻碰了一下湿润的沙子。 海水退去后，一条细细的水痕留在两人面前。 Gakupo忽然说道： “那今天下午干脆不要安排太多事情。” Luka抬起头。 “你的意思是？” “回酒店休息一下，傍晚再出来。” “去哪儿？” “到时候再决定。” Luka想了想，露出笑容。 “好。” 她把手机收了起来。 “这才像假期。” 两人再次安静下来。 没有急着离开。 只是坐在沙滩边，看着眼前的海浪一次次靠近，再一次次退去。 偶尔交换一句对行程的想法。 偶尔聊起刚才看到的风景。 偶尔什么也不说。 阳光落在海面上，让整片海洋闪烁着细碎的光芒。 旅行的行程还没有完全决定。 但对他们而言，似乎也没有那么重要。 因为只要能一起走、一起看海，偶尔停下来休息，这段假期就已经足够悠闲。 过了一会儿，Luka轻轻站起身。 “休息够了？” Gakupo也站了起来。 “嗯。” Luka看向前方。 “那我们再走一会儿？” “好。” 两人并肩踏上沙滩。 身后的脚印逐渐延伸，而海浪依旧在不远处轻轻拍打着岸边。 他们一边走，一边继续讨论着接下来的旅行。 只是这一次，他们没有再急着把每一个时间点都安排好。 因为这场假期最重要的，从来都不是目的地。 而是沿途一起度过的每一刻。
