In retrospect Naga is likely Slayers best girl and probably one of the progenitors of the Ojou-sama Archetype. Apart from Naga, Lina has her moments but otherwise everyone else kind of sucks. Also the special continuity is superior to the main timeline, Lina's shenanigans with Naga are just more fun than the main Slayers continuity. Naga simply has the correct amount of crazy while also being surprisingly self aware and kind.
