Aerth was born and raised in small coastal village on the north of empire. When he was five, he lost his parents and home to surprise attack. Sole survivor, he fled deep into the forest.
One day, around week after his escape, he found a small white fox collapsed in front of his campfire. Aerth helped animal by giving him food and water. Later that day it turned little fox understands and speaks human language. Both boy and animal became friends.
After dusk, king and queen of foxes appeared at campfire. They thanked Aerth for taking care of their son and as thank you gift took him to hidden ninja village.
Boy was adopted into Yuuhi family and trained in ninjutsu arts. At age of eighteen he left for a trip to learn about the empire and maybe discover mystery behind tragedy that befallen his family home.
