So she got a job as an administration assistant at a local office. The tribute is meager by comparison to back in the day. But it has the added benefit of paying the bills for more modern luxuries. Sharp, intelligent, and manipulative could either describe her or her sentient hair. She can use her hair like extra limbs. It really helps with office work. Not much of a morning person. Often arrives late to work. Higher ups stopped questioning her due to unforeseen accidents and other mysterious means.
