Brigit Moireis

Book 2 of the Rubric Maxim divides the narrative into three major storylines. One of those revolves around the hometown of Sybelle and Felicyta, a small sea-side village called Glasbrae in the country Runnemede. Here is a brief description of one of the background characters. Brigit Moireis is the granddaughter of the woman who runs the local orphanage. Although her parents originally hoped she would become a lady’s maid, Brigit’s carefree and independent spirit made such a path impossible. Instead, she earns her living working in the market. Many young men in Glasbrae, including some from prominent families, have tried to win her heart, but all have failed.
