raphtalia The Rising of the Shield Hero

Raphtalia, also known as Raftalia, is a Tanuki-type Demi-Human who was first introduced in the slave trader tent where she was sold into slavery and later brought by Naofumi. Initially, she was afraid of her new master due to her previous traumatic experiences with slave owners, but she slowly began to trust Naofumi after observing how he treated her with kindness, such as properly feeding her, giving her medicine, and comforting her when she had traumatic experiences. Raphtalia eventually decided to give her all for Naofumi after learning about his role in fighting the Waves. Her relationship with Naofumi gradually improved over time.

Raphtalia's birthday is June 29th, and she is classified as a Demi-Human and a slave to Naofumi Iwatani. She learned to use a knife and how to kill monsters while traveling with Naofumi, overcoming many of her fears.
