When the nunnery was sacked Ill informed witch hunters, one nun stood up the raiders and took the brunt of the punishment for her sisters. She was tortured and abused for weeks, no mere nun should be able to endure the punishment that would break even seasoned warriors. Eventually she could take no more and before she passed she cursed the scoundrels. The witch hunters assumed they find more devious witches and returned to the nunnery. But when they arrived the once broken body of the nun stood at the priory gates to their horror. She dispatched them all with her abilities to manipulate blood and pain. Agony that’s all those men knew. Sister or saint, all they knew was her by was Agony.
