『ゲッターロボ』第1話に登場した、恐竜帝国の先兵たる二足歩行型のメカザウルスです。
早乙女研究所で実験用ゲッターロボ（プロトゲッター）の合体テストが行われている最中、突如地中から出現して襲撃しました。
口から吐き出す高熱の火炎や、プロトゲッターを軽々と持ち上げるほどの圧倒的な怪力を持ち、鼻先の角をミサイルのように飛ばして攻撃することもできます。
プロトゲッターを破壊して早乙女博士の息子・達人たち初代パイロットの命を奪い、流竜馬たちがゲッターロボに乗り込んで戦う直接のきっかけを作った、物語の始まりに欠かせない非常に重要な敵キャラクターです。

[Mechasaurus Saki]
Mechasaurus Saki is a bipedal vanguard Mechasaurus of the Dinosaur Empire that appeared in Episode 1 of "Getter Robo."
It suddenly emerged from underground and attacked the Saotome Institute during the combination test of the Experimental Getter Robo (Proto Getter).
It boasts overwhelming physical strength, easily lifting the Proto Getter, breathes high-temperature fire from its mouth, and can fire the horns on its snout as missiles.
By destroying the Proto Getter and taking the lives of Dr. Saotome's son Tatsujin and the other original pilots, it directly triggered Ryoma Nagare and the team to pilot Getter Robo, making it a crucial enemy character essential to the beginning of the story.
