A high, slightly tilted view from above the bed looks down the length of the elf: she lies flat on her back on a deep-red bedsheet, her long white hair fanned out across the pillow in two loose tails with the parted bangs pushed aside off her forehead, her pointed ears clear of the strands, her small gold earrings catching a thin edge of light as her chin tips up toward the lens. Her legs are the whole point of the pose: both knees bent and drawn up, hips rotated open, knees splayed wide apart while her feet stay together near the foot of the mattress, thighs and shins folded to either side of her torso so the silhouette reads as the trussed roast chicken shape, the white capelet bunched and spread flat beneath her shoulders and splaying open across the sheet, her arms slack and slightly out from her body, palms up, fingers loosely curled into the fabric, nothing gripping. Her green eyes look straight up at the viewer with half-lowered lids and a faint closed-mouth smile; one eyebrow sits a fraction higher than the other and a soft blush sits on both cheeks.
