Shot at eye level from slightly off to her side, tilted just enough that the branch runs diagonally across the frame: a wolf-eared beastwoman crouches low on a thick mossy limb of a tall forest tree, knees drawn up under her, one booted foot flat on the bark and the other toe hooked over the branch's edge, weight sunk onto her right hip and right hand, whose red-lacquered fingertips dig in and dimple the moss. Her left forearm drapes over her raised knee, and that hand hangs loose, sharp claws half-curled so their polished red tips catch the light. Her black hair spills out from under the hood in untidy strands that stick to her cheeks and swing toward the lens with her forward lean. The purple hoodie is big on her, bunching at the shoulders and hanging in a soft pouch at the chest, and the hood is pulled up into a high, rounded swell that lifts at the crown where her hidden ears push the fabric into two soft peaks; the front of the hood juts out over her brow and throws a band of deep shadow across the whole eye area, so no eyes and no ears show anywhere, only the pale lower half of her face. Below the shadow her mouth is wide open in a laugh, corners crinkled and pulled up, one small fang catching the light as it pokes over her bottom lip, and her chin lifts just a little as she looks straight into the viewer's eyes at their own height. A thick black wolf tail hangs down behind the branch, its tip flicking up at the end, half of it in shade. Sunlight comes in shafts from the upper left through the canopy: the brim of the hood and the top of her shoulder blaze with a bright rim, dappled patches of warm light slide across the purple fabric and the denim of her jeans, and the underside of the hood and the space behind her knees stay in cool green shade; her shadow falls short on the bark below her. The forest recedes into soft, out-of-focus green and brown trunks behind her, leaves drifting here and there. Palette of deep purple, indigo denim, black hair and tail against the forest's mossy greens and gold light, with a single hot red at her nails. Playful, sun-dappled ease.
