A high-angle wide shot looking out past the brink of a sheer seaside cliff at night. In the immediate foreground, dense patches of coarse coastal grass cling to the dark earth, every blade bent and flattened inland by a heavy onshore wind. Placed firmly into the turf near the edge stands an old, solitary wooden signpost, its timber weathered to an ashen grey with raised salt-scoured grain; painted vertically along the plank in faded, peeling black lettering are the characters "危険". Just past the signpost, the sod breaks off sharply into an abyss of jagged, wet slate cliffs descending vertically into deep shadow. Far below, the rocky shore is strewn with black basalt boulders and jagged sea stacks, where violent ocean swells slam against the rock faces and erupt into bursts of luminous white sea spray; frothy sea foam gathers in branching, lace-like ribbons on the glistening wet rock surfaces before being dragged back by the undertow. The dark ocean expands endlessly toward a faint, distant horizon line. Above, a vast and towering night sky arches overhead, laden with drifting midnight-blue cloud banks that part to admit a cool, diffuse silver glow of moonlight, casting pale glints across the restless sea surface.
